Where would you be if you’d let that little voice inside of your head convince you that you’re not cut out for this?

Me? I would’ve never taken the risk to move across the country by myself. I would’ve never went back to school for my masters. I would’ve never fought for my promotions at work. I would’ve never EVER started a business.

I would most definitely be filled with regret, unhappy, and stuck.

Life comes with challenges so this is not to say it’s always been a perfect or easy journey. There’s been times I’ve had to take a moment and cry it out, times I’ve wondered what got into me thinking I could do this in the first place. Hell, there’s been times I’ve straight up failed and have had to pick myself up and keep going… but for me, trying and failing is far better than not trying at all.

I didn’t make it to where I am today alone. I’ve always had community, even if it’s small, a couple of people to believe in me and cheer me on; and as I work on growing my business I now also have a VA that believes in what I’m working towards.

So why do you insist on doing it alone? We get further TOGETHER. I know you’re overworked and tired. I know it’s hard to grow a business from the ground up. I know sometimes it feels like you can’t do this and you wonder why you even thought you could in the first place.

The truth is you can do this, but you don’t have to do it alone. My DM’s are always open, let’s chat and figure out how we can work together.👥

📢Listen up, you’re going to want to save this post for later!
We all struggle with figuring out when is the best time to post to get the most engagement.
Well, here’s a guide into how your insights can help you figure out a schedule that works for you!🙌🏼

Here’s the thing I want you to keep in mind though, it’s so important to listen to your intuition.

When I feel an impulse to post and I’m not within my “best times to post”, I post it anyway! Why?
👉🏼Because when I’ve felt that impulse to say something (through my content) and then held back and waited for a “better time”, it doesn’t usually perform as well as the “impulsive post” does.
👉🏼But also (and most importantly), because I’m building a business that’s sustainable and I don’t want to create an environment for myself where I feel like a slave to the social media algorithm.

It’s time to spill the tea…🍵😏
These are the three mistakes I made in my first year of business:

👀Spend too much time curating the perfect feed.
At the beginning of my journey I was spending HOURS finding the perfect elements on Canva, and now looking back on it I wish I hadn’t because spending less time designing the content gives me more time to sell my services and service my clients. The quality of the message I’m delivering is the same whether my post is plain or decorated from top to bottom.

👀Saying yes to every potential client.
Repeat after me: I’m not meant to work with everyone. When you’re hiring a client it’s just as important that they’re a good fit for YOU as it is that you’re a good fit for them. Granted, working with different types of people gives you a good opportunity to figure out who your ideal client is, but sometimes it’s an obvious no. Plus if you’re saying yes to everyone it’s a sign of scarcity mindset. Be selective so better opportunities can find you.

👀Being afraid to invest.
Y’all, when I hired my business coach last year, I was SCARED. I hesitated at first because what I needed to pay her was literally 70% of all the money I had made until that point and I’d been in business for 4-5 months already. Ultimately, I took the leap of faith and you guys my only regret is not doing it sooner – as soon as I started working with her I doubled my income, inquiries started coming in from left and right, my business saw massive growth in just a matter of weeks. Why? Two reasons: one, I was letting someone that knew what I didn’t guide me in the right direction and two, by hiring her, I was forcing myself to level up. So if you’re hesitant to invest in a business coach (or a social media manager 😉) because of the cost, it’s more expensive to NOT make the investment, take it from me!

📢Calling all (usually) creatives lacking inspiration, you’ll want to read this!

This is a judgement free zone, trust me, I’VE BEEN THERE.

Social media puts so much pressure to constantly perform, constantly put out content, constantly show up. Because if you don’t, people will forget about you, they won’t buy from you, they’ll unfollow you, etc. etc. etc.
It is exhausting!😰

Some days, there’s just nothing to draw from, and that doesn’t make you less of an expert. It makes you HUMAN.😉

Here are 4 questions to ask yourself on those days where you can’t come up with anything to post.
And look, if you still can’t think of anything - take the day off. Your business will be fine and tomorrow is a brand new day. Sometimes taking a break is exactly what we need to get those creative juices flowing.

But, if on those days you have considered outsourcing your social media to someone else because you truly don’t like it, ‘you’re not good at it’ or you don’t have time for it, I’m your girl. As I sit here and reflect on the year I’ve had, I wanted to summarize it into 3 lessons I’ve learned this year, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that everything I learned can be summed up into one thing: always trust my instincts.

Spoiler alert: your gut is always right. And we know this, right? But we also tend to want to ignore our gut feelings when we *really* want something to work. If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t. And yes, I am referring to that client, that project, that collab, if it doesn’t feel right- move right along.
You’re not meant to work with everyone, and that’s OKAY. Saying no makes space for the things, clients, projects and people that do align with you.

On that same note though, if it feels right to you, it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else.
Read that again.
Don’t sell yourself short because other people don’t see the bigger vision, as long as you feel good about your decisions- KEEP GOING!

If you’re passionate about it, who cares what anyone else thinks? You know this is exactly what you’re meant to be doing.

At the end of the day la vida es solo una!

You accomplished a lot this year, time to celebrate!

The holidays are the perfect opportunity to slow down and take inventory.
First- take time off, you deserve it.
Second- tally up your wins this year and fuel yourself to start off 2022 on fire!

I know what it’s like to have big and crazy dreams, and sometimes it doesn’t feel like we’re getting any closer to them but listen- every step you take is one step closer to your end goal.

Did you make at least one more sale this year?
Signed on one more client?
Launched one new product?
Learned more about your craft?
Took a new course?
Redesigned your website?
Etc…

Whether it’s big or small, everything you did, or learned this year is putting you one step closer to those crazy dreams and if you haven’t heard it today: I’m proud of you and that’s worth celebrating!

Lucky for you, I’ve gathered the most common questions I’ve been asked and I hope these answer yours.😉

❓Can I modify your packages?
Absolutely! They’re designed based on the stage you may be in, in your business but you can always request things to be added or removed.

❓Do you offer payment plans?
YES! Your monthly payments can be split into weekly or bi-weekly payments.

❓Why should I hire a social media manager?
For the same reason you would hire an accountant. Yes, you could figure out your own books but why go through the trouble when you could hire a professional to do it for you? I’m here so you can focus your efforts on other areas of your business.

❓How do I know what you’re doing is working?
As soon as you become a client we have an onboarding process that includes setting goals and KPI’s. You’ll be able to measure my success based on how results compare to those goals and KPI’s.

❓Will you be posting for me?
That’s your personal preference! I have a “done for you” approach, which means it does include posting on your behalf from your own accounts. But I do have clients that prefer to receive all the content and post it themselves.

❓Do you have experience managing other platforms?
Yes, I have also worked with Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn.

The one thing all 6-figure yearly income business owners have in common: they have help.🔎
