Mimaki 50/25 Kinetic Illuminated Sign was created by Bold Project US to celebrate Mimaki’s 50th anniversary worldwide and 25 years of presence in North America.

Mimaki provided the available exhibition space and the anniversary brief, while the creative concept and production were developed by Bold Project US.

The idea was based on CMYK and the way printed colors interact when they overlap. The piece uses two circular elements, one fixed and one rotating, allowing the printed color fields to continuously mix and create new visual combinations.

The graphics were printed directly onto clear cast acrylic using a Mimaki JFX200 UV flatbed printer. The structure also incorporates white PVC, silver mirror acrylic, a low-speed motor with speed control, and programmable LED lighting designed to complement the rotation.

The finished piece measures approximately 69 × 47 inches and was exhibited at ISA Sign Expo 2025 in Las Vegas and Orlando Florida Printing United 2025

A production comes to life on stage, but behind every image there are countless details, ideas, and hours of work that make the final experience possible.

Sharing a few images from “Alegría,” a production by Lori Productions, where every space, element, and visual detail became part of an experience designed to transform the environment and connect with the audience.

Detrás de cada letrero hay todo un proceso: survey, renders, permisos y supervisión durante la instalación. Hoy no les muestro el resultado final, pero sí todo lo que hacemos para que cada detalle quede como debe ser. Próximamente les enseño cómo quedó.

Esta van mecánicamente estaba perfecta, pero su imagen ya necesitaba un cambio.

Removimos la gráfica anterior, preparamos la superficie y desarrollamos un nuevo diseño para convertirla nuevamente en una herramienta de publicidad para el negocio.

A veces no necesitas cambiar tu vehículo. Necesitas cambiar cómo se ve y cómo representa tu marca.
