The Unsettling Truth.
Imagine a guy making $4,000 a month meticulously planning his vacation. He dives into how flight aggregators work and crafts spreadsheets to map out the cheapest routes, all to save within a $5,000 budget.
Then, there’s the mega-guy with a factory 🏭 and a monthly income of a million. His mission? To shave off $1 from the transport cost of each kilogram of goods from Mexico to the U.S. He gets to grips with logistics companies, mobilizes the planning department, and creates tables, aiming to save thousands of dollars.
If an owl from Hogwarts flew by and peeked into their windows, it couldn’t tell who’s handling billions and who’s pinching pennies: both are glued to their computers, crunching numbers in spreadsheets. Rejecting a $100 premium for seat selection on a flight or for insuring a ton of cargo because “”it’s too expensive”” are seen in the same light.
What’s the difference? Scale. Many already possess the skills to earn big; they just can’t see the ladder above them, with steps as invisible as in old video games. You just need to step forward, and they’ll appear.
The gap between a billionaire and someone with a $4,000 salary lies in their goals. The processes, the pursuit of extra earnings, the drive to save, and the use of Google are the same. The distinction is in the scale of their ambitions.
You already have the skills. All that’s left is to adjust your aim.
