The Mining Department at Capstone Copper Pinto Valley celebrated the addition of a brand-new Komatsu WE1850 loader to its fleet yesterday with lunch and a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Capable of lifting more than 50 tons in a single pass, the new loader is the first of its kind at Pinto Valley Mine. The 40-cubic-yard bucket is a perfect match with the Haul Truck fleet, enhancing the safety and productivity of mine operations.

We’d like to thank our mining team for their efforts in securing the new loader, as well as the representatives of Komatsu who assembled the vehicle on site and took part in our celebration.
