Some days remind us exactly why we do this work. When a kindergartener at began choking and losing consciousness, Corporal Henry Villagra didn’t hesitate. He stepped in, took control of the situation, and was quickly able to dislodge the item, saving her life.

The dangerous situation could have ended in tragedy but it didn’t. We are incredibly proud of Safe School Officer Henry and grateful for the trust our schools place in us every day. This is the standard we hold ourselves to, because every child deserves to go home safe.

Look who showed up today 🐍🐍 When a water snake decided to make a little detour near school grounds, we knew exactly who to call. The one and only Kim from Swamp Girl Adventures came to the rescue 🦸‍♀️

Our SSO Sargeant was right by her side, making sure everyone stayed safe while Kim worked her magic and relocated our unexpected visitor to a better home. 🐍

This is what community partnership looks like, and it’s one of the many ways we work together to make sure our kids have a safe environment to learn and grow. A huge thank you to Kim and Swamp Girl Adventures for leading the charge today. We’ll handle the school grounds, you handle the wildlife! 😄
