The New Opportunity Economy
Skills, Work and Human Capacity for 2030 and Beyond!

The World Economic Forum estimates that structural changes in the global economy could create roughly 170 million jobs and displace 92 million by 2030—a net increase of approximately 78 million jobs.

The future therefore belongs neither exclusively to the computer programmer nor exclusively to the plumber.

It belongs to the adaptive person who knows how to work with technology while doing something valuable for another human being.

The new rule:

> **Do not prepare merely for jobs. Prepare for changing combinations of tasks.**

A carpenter may use AI.

A nurse will use AI.
