In Miami you can eat some very interesting typical dishes and meals with a fairly high gastronomic value. You don't only live on fast food and we will see below some of the best foods that we can enjoy in this city.

Crab

Let's go first with one of the dishes that are normally only available in a specific season: from October to May. It is a cold dish that is served accompanied by lemon and consists of the legs of a crab (known as stone crab) with a sweet flavor similar to lobster.

Mofongo is a dish that unites: fried plantain and crushed pork rinds with a touch of garlic. The truth is that when you look at it it doesn't seem so tasty, but when you try it, you won't be able to stop eating it.

Perhaps one of the best known entries in all of Miami and even in all of Florida are the rich croquettes. They can be found in a variety of fillings and ways of preparation, for example, the rich shrimp croquettes, the mozzarella fingers, among many other options.
