New hobby unlocked: Went my first ever photowalk 🥰➡️ (SWIPE for pictures👉)

📸 Celebrated with Nicole Breanne Shabada and Adobe Lightroom ...

It started with chasing light: Finding rays of light during Golden Hour in downtown Toronto ...✨

🙌 Started seeing Toronto through a different lens entirely...

👀 Noticing reflections in building and finally trying to take the kind of pictures Ive always admired online...

The CN tower was definitely the icon of the day...

I couldn't get enough of it. Trying to capture various angles...

I have a 100 photos of this building now lol

But then I switched to noticing people...

Architecture that had people in it...

Getting closer for the finer details...

Noticing elements that stood out.. finding frames and compositions that was interesting to me...

Using "Leading lines" to find angles that are balanced...

I used Adobe Lightroom for the first time ever and removed all the people in this picture to get this... I think it's the best stairs picture I've ever taken lol

Found frames (the plants) to highlight my hero object (promise this is the last CN tower picture) 🥹

The art of noticing these things truly was such a peaceful experience to pause and step away from the "busy life"...

All thanks to Nicole Breanne Shabada for putting this together.

Not only was this experience a way for me to finally learn to take pictures on my camera... It was a lot more...

It was about community and bringing people together. Which is the most wonderful thing ever.

Shoutout to Anomaly for providing the space to make this happen. I hope to do this again soon. The perfect mix of a therapeutic experience and art.

After months of working behind the scenes Creator Juice | Content Creator Podcast is back with a new season, a new format and with some amazing new guests.

Tyler has been an inspiration for me since the day we first met. While I was working a 9-5 job it was amazing to see someone else who was working full-time at a creative company AND creating content and building his own brand along side. (Turns out he's been doing it for 15 years).

In 2024 when we first met, I wrote down something he said which stuck with me as a constant reminder during the challenging days:

but I feel it's important to mention it so that if you are in the same place I was back then, without clarity... I hope what I have to say can make a difference in your life and give you the encouragement you need to take that leap of faith. 🙌🔥

The reality of what goes on behind the scenes. 😅
I would pay money to see what behind the scenes looks like for some of ya'll. 😄

I'm realizing that it's important to share the reality of the process behind the work because then you can see that you're not alone... This stuff isn't easy... But it's fun and worth it. 🌷

I'm glad I started doing this. Feeling blessed today. 🫶

Let's pause for a second and taje a koment to reflect and breathe.

Prior to the past few weeks I felt like I was just constantly consuming. Consuming more than I was creating.

That imbalance definitely is a major challenge as a creator.

The over stimulation with social media edits is overwhelming 😅 With AI too it's like every edit has to be a hyper edit.

To top it all the news with what's happening in the world, is an internal battle Ive been experiencing. Trying to create to share my knowledge as a full time creator + state of the world, makes it challenging for sure to show up.

My plan: Try to slow down and document simplicity for a change. Nothing too crazy. Go back to the basics. Maybe that will re-fuel the spark to create deeper more complex work.

How are you dealing with this in your life? I'm curious...

June Photodump: Better late than never ✨ Heres a snapshot of what happened last month. 🙌

🌲🪴Spent a lot of time doing yard work and it's been very therapeutic. Want to try some planting and growing when the sun is out ☀️😎

📸I've started taking my camera everywhere to document my life...

🔥The goal is to get so good at documenting that I can use my videos to share my life, experiences and stories in a visually compelling way.

🎂Celebrated some birthdays...

🛳️⛴️Unlocked new experiences...

🏠🪴After moving around for so many years I've learnt that every city is only as good as the people in your life. I'm grateful to have found my people. Not easy, but worth it. 💜

🌲Took my camera to shoot outdoors. It's crazy hot but summer is very short in Toronto. So I intend to make the most of the weather while it lasts haha

Anyone else crazy about a good 1️⃣1️⃣:1️⃣1️⃣ moment? 🥸
