Grass Court Sharp Money Line Watchlist

These are not official plays. This falls into my daily writeups. I have compiled a list of the top group I am reviewing because something in the matchup gives us a possible edge.

Moutet ML

This is a fade of name value more than anything. Kyrgios has the bigger grass reputation, but I need current proof before trusting him on a money line. Moutet is not a perfect grass player, but he is active, match ready and should make Kyrgios earn it physically. Kyrgious being the better grass player is the underdog here for a reason and that reason he has not played enough at this level recently to be a major threat. (I WROTE THIS GAME IN YESTERDAY ITS MORE THAN LIKELY A HAMMER)

Mannarino ML

Mannarino is always worth a look on grass because his game fits the surface. He keeps the ball low, changes pace well and can make bigger hitters uncomfortable. Diallo has the bigger serve, but Mannarino has the grass IQ and timing to turn this into a tricky matchup. (LEANING MANNARINO)

Tatjana Maria ML

This is a dog look based on grass style. Maria has the slice, variety and court craft that can bother players on this surface. Sakkari is the better athlete, but grass can take away some of that edge if Maria keeps the ball low and forces awkward contact. (I WILL BE WATCHING THIS LINE VERY CLOSELY)

Griekspoor ML

Griekspoor brings the serve and first strike profile I want on grass. He is not being priced like a massive favorite, which keeps him in the playable range. If he protects serve and gets ahead in rallies early, he has the right tools for this matchup. (TOP RATED AT THE MOMENT)

Giron ML

Giron is in a close matchup, but I like the grass profile. He can serve well enough, flatten the ball out and play through the court. Bautista Agut is steady and experienced, but on grass I lean toward the player who can create a little more pressure with pace. (UNCERTAIN BUT LEANING)

Virtanen ML

Virtanen is interesting strictly because of the serve. On grass, that weapon can carry a match and flip tight sets. If the price is right, this is the type of spot where I do not mind taking the player who can get more free points and force pressure late in sets. (WATCHING WHAT THE MARKET DOES)
