As marketers it is pivotal that we shift from the old ways of doing business, focusing on selling and sales messaging, to providing value to our customers and ultimately our entire community every step of the way.

With this in mind here are 4 tips on how you can continuously give your customers value within your every day marketing activities!

1. Become an authority: When you position yourself as a thought leader, innovator and authoritive figure within your respective field, your percieved value increases tremendously. Create content that not only promotes your products, services and/or brand, but find ways to interact with, educate, and build relationships with your target audience.

2. Understand their needs: Rather than creating a product and trying to sell it to as many people as possible, the inbound marketing methodology is focused around uncovering what your target audiences needs are and solving those needs. Take your customer and place them at the middle of all of your marketing efforts and build your product around their needs. Who is your target customer? What are their motivations? What are their painpoints? Once you begin to create experiences catered to their needs they will feel that you understand them.

3. Listen to their feedback: By conducting research and listening, you provide your brand with ample opportunity to grow and increase its percieved value amongst its community. Most brands dont listen to their target audience and use most of their time talking and selling. Truth be told, the more time you talk, the less time you have to listen and understand how to create the most value for your consumers.

4. Personalize your efforts: Your business should be focusing how to create personal connections with your target audience by providing customized brand experiences. Segment your audiences and provide them personalized communication that is almost 1 to 1. Remember birthdays, special occasions, communicate with them by providing relevant content. Focus on community building. All of these actions can help you with creating a very personal business.

While seeing bigger picture is important to visualizing and manifesting your dreams and goals, only within the details can you truly understand the path and hurdles that lie before you.

Every dream starts with believing in yourself. Rome wasn’t built in a day, so stay focused and stay true to your individual journey. You will get there with the desire and dedication to thrive against all odds.

Dreams are amazing and it is important to never set a ceiling on your potential, however it is just as important to set realistic and intermediate goals along the way to track your progress and keep your work ethic honest.

Never stop learning. Always be a student. Always look to learn new skills that can accentuate your current skillset and better your ability to perform in your respective field or endeavor.

1. People dont by what you do ,they buy why you do it. When you are able to articulate what your brand is passionate about, your customers will resonate with your brand on a deeper level.

2. Your brand promise is what truly sets you apart form your competitors. When your customers decide to do business with you, what is the value you provide that differentiates your brand from all the others.

3. Take a hard look at your target market and curate your buyer personas. Identify who your brand aligns with and be sure to speak directly to this audience. You can’t be everything to everyone.

4. All of your favorite brands have a clear and consistent look and feel. When we come in contact with these elements we immediately think of their entire brands. That is powerful. Everything from your logos, colors, to your messaging and tone of voice, these should all act in unison.

A large part of digital marketing is personalization. Brands must now take time to ensure the content each customer receives is relevant to their needs and pain points. When creating your email marketing strategy, segment your customers by interests, needs, or step within the marketing funnel, and then deliver unique emails to those segments with content that will appeal to each group. This can significantly improve open rates, click through rates, conversions and ultimately reduce opt-outs and unsubscribes.

2. Personalize the Subject Line, Keep It Short, and Focus on the Benefits

By just adding a recipient’s name to an email’s subject line can increase the likeliness of your email being opened by 26 percent. Be sure to keep subject your lines short, typically under 60 characters total. We now live in a mobile-first world so unnecessary long subject lines are usually cut off.

3. Don’t Send Too Many Emails

Spamming your consumers with too many emails can result in as much as 80% of your list unsubscribing. Try to send out no more than approximately two emails a week.
