π GOOD MORNING, FAMILY OF THE WAY! π€²π
All praise, honor, and glory to YAHAWAH for allowing us to see another day! Every morning is another opportunity to grow in wisdom, strengthen our faith, examine ourselves, and walk in obedience to His Word.
π₯ TODAYβS LESSON: RESPECT THE DIVINE ORDER β SUBMISSION, OBEDIENCE & ACCOUNTABILITY
Family, one of the greatest tests of our character is how we respond to the leadership and authority YAHAWAH has established over us. It is easy to say we believe in the Most High, but our faith must also be reflected in how we receive instruction, follow righteous leadership, honor our responsibilities, and respond to correction.
π 1 CORINTHIANS 11:3 (KJV)
βBut I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.β
YAHAWAH establishes order. His Word teaches us that authority and responsibility are not meant to operate through confusion, pride, or rebellion. There is an order of leadership, and those who are entrusted with responsibility must understand their position within that order.
π HEBREWS 13:17 (KJV)
βObey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.β
Notice that leadership carries responsibility before YAHAWAH. Those placed in positions of leadership must give an account for how they lead, while those under their leadership must take their own responsibility for how they respond to instruction.
Submission is not merely saying that we respect leadership; submission is demonstrated through our actions. It is reflected in our willingness to listen, follow righteous instruction, fulfill our assignments, and accept correction without allowing pride or offense to control our response.
π ECCLESIASTICUS (SIRACH) 25:22 (KJV, APOCRYPHA)
βIf a man have a wife, that holdeth the house in her hand, and is continually fearful and disobedient, it is a great reproach.β
This scripture warns of the harm that disobedience can bring into a household. When we consider the principle of divine order, we must recognize that disobedience and resistance to rightful responsibilities can bring conflict and dishonor where there should be peace, order, and cooperation.
Family, submission must be reflected in our conduct, not merely in our words. We cannot claim to honor the order established by YAHAWAH while continually resisting the responsibilities associated with our position. Whether in our homes, families, congregations, or the work we have been entrusted to do, we must examine whether our actions demonstrate respect, discipline, and obedience.
π 1 SAMUEL 15:22β23 (KJV)
βAnd Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.β
π₯ THE QUESTION IS: ARE WE TRULY SUBMITTING, OR ARE WE ONLY SUBMITTING WHEN WE AGREE?
Anyone can follow instructions that align with their personal preferences. But what happens when leadership corrects us? What happens when we are asked to do something that challenges our pride, requires discipline, or demands that we change our ways?
Do we humble ourselves and examine our actions, or do we immediately become offended and place the blame on the person correcting us?
Family, before pointing the finger at leadership, we must be willing to look at the reflection in the mirror. Did I follow the instruction? Did I fulfill my responsibility? Did I respect the order established? Did I receive correction with humility? Did I carry out what I was entrusted to do?
Sometimes, the problem is not that instruction was never given. Sometimes, the problem is that instruction was not followed.
π JAMES 1:22 (KJV)
βBut be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.β
We cannot hear the Word repeatedly, receive instruction, take notes, and claim to be growing while refusing to apply what we have learned. Knowledge without obedience does not demonstrate spiritual maturity.
π₯ DO NOT DISRESPECT THE AUTHORITY YAHAWAH HAS ESTABLISHED.
π ROMANS 13:1β2 (KJV)
βLet every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.β
We must take the order of authority seriously. When YAHAWAH appoints someone to a position of leadership, we should not treat that responsibility lightly, undermine that position through pride, or refuse righteous instruction simply because we dislike the correction.
When we knowingly reject righteous authority because of pride, we must examine whether our resistance is also becoming resistance to the order YAHAWAH has established.
This does not mean that every person claiming authority is automatically righteous or that leaders are beyond correction. All leadership remains accountable to the Word of YAHAWAH. No human being's instruction supersedes His commandments. We must distinguish between righteous authority and instructions that contradict Scripture.
π ACTS 5:29 (KJV)
βThen Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.β
True biblical order does not give anyone permission to abuse authority, nor does it give anyone permission to use personal offense as an excuse for disobedience. Both leadership and those being led must remain under the authority of YAHAWAH and His Word.
π LUKE 16:10 (KJV)
βHe that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.β
How we handle the small responsibilities reveals something about how we will handle greater responsibilities. If we cannot follow through on what we have already been taught, how can we expect to be entrusted with more?
Family, leadership requires discipline, and submission requires humility. We cannot demand greater opportunities while neglecting the responsibilities already placed before us. We cannot continually blame the person giving direction without honestly examining whether we have followed that direction.
π€² TODAYβS SELF-EXAMINATION
Before we criticize, accuse, or blame someone in leadership, let us ask ourselves:
β
Did I follow the instruction that was given to me?
β
Did I fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to me?
β
Did I respect the established order, or did my pride cause me to resist?
β
When I received correction, did I make the necessary changes, or did I focus only on how the correction made me feel?
β
Am I holding myself accountable to the same standard I expect from others?
π₯ REMEMBER, FAMILY:
You cannot control every decision made by someone else, but you are responsible for your own obedience, attitude, decisions, and actions.
A leader can teach, guide, correct, establish expectations, and provide direction. But each person must decide whether they will receive that instruction and put it into practice.
DO NOT BLAME THE INSTRUCTION YOU REFUSED TO FOLLOW. DO NOT DISRESPECT THE RESPONSIBILITY YOU WERE ENTRUSTED TO FULFILL. AND DO NOT ALLOW PRIDE TO PREVENT YOU FROM RECEIVING CORRECTION.
Let us become a people who not only hear the Word but live it; not only desire leadership but understand responsibility; and not only ask YAHAWAH for blessings but demonstrate faithfulness in what He has already placed in our hands.
May YAHAWAH give us humble hearts, disciplined minds, wisdom to recognize righteous leadership, and the strength to walk in obedience to His Word.
π PRAYER FOR TODAY
YAHAWAH, thank You for another day of life and another opportunity to grow in Your truth. Search our hearts and reveal any pride, stubbornness, rebellion, or unwillingness to receive correction within us. Teach us to respect righteous leadership, fulfill our responsibilities faithfully, and walk in the order established by Your Word. Give those in leadership wisdom, integrity, patience, and discernment, and give those under their leadership humble and teachable hearts. Help us to stop blaming others for the responsibilities we have neglected and give us the discipline to put Your Word into practice. Let everything we do bring honor to Your name. In the name of YAHAWASHI, Amein. π€²
π HAVE A BLESSED AND PRODUCTIVE DAY, FAMILY!
Stay humble. Stay accountable. Respect righteous leadership. Receive correction. Fulfill your responsibilities.
WALK IN THE WORD, NOT IN PRIDE! ππ₯
