So appreciative of being part of the Top 10 photographers of the year award from the awards ceremony/dinner Saturday night. After receiving two consecutive First Place “Robert W Becker” Photographer of the Year awards unfortunately I was not able to compete for several years due to family and personal medical issues. After a few years, I finally listened and thank my mentor Lino insisting I continue competing. So I did, first and foremost being a member of PPGF has taught me to be a better photographer, I’ve learn from some amazing speakers and educators through the years. Then competing amongst the best of the best fellow photographers in Florida it is truly incredible how much you learn from all these amazing judges on their critiques and how knowledgeable they are. To my mentors, judges, directors and fellow photographers, I thank you for all your support and help through the years, receiving this 2nd place “Marcel and Silvia Moiño” Award was truly an honor for me. Again, thank you to the board of directors, especially to our President @ Veronica Tejeda for all her efforts and hard work and to our vice president Cabrera for scheduling all the amazing speakers and educators each and every month to help us become better photographer’s. Looking forward to wonderful 2026 under the new President Cabrera.
