Quick reminder - don't connect your smart TV to the internet. Use a streaming device from a brand you tend to trust. We use AppleTV and love it.

Samba TV, which has deals to put its software on sets made by about a dozen TV brands, uses viewing data to make personalized show recommendations. But that’s not the big draw for advertisers.

Usually the Android folks swear by benchmarks and hardware numbers. iPhone 8 and X, at almost 6 months old, are faster than that Galaxy S9 that just got announced, according to new benchmarks. Hmmmm

We ran three benchmark apps on the Samsung Galaxy S9: AnTuTu, GFXBench, and Geekbench 4, and we have to say the results look quite promising.

Apple has released iOS 11.2.6 which fixes the bug that caused apps to crash when they received a specific character or sequence of characters. It is recommended for you to update your iPhone or iPad. Note: this isn't the 11.3 update which will feature upgraded battery reporting and allow users to turn off the throttling that accompanies an older battery. That is coming soon still.

URGENT! There’s a bug causing some iPhones and iPads to get stuck in a restart loop. Updating to iOS 11.2 (which was released overnight) resolves the issue. The issue is related to calendar, and it started happening on 12/2. Here’s more info:
