Alan Phillip Kids
It’s always a pleasure having the Simkins family in front of my lens. Reflecting back on our journey together and realizing that it’s been six years since I first photographed them feels bittersweet — the kids are growing up so fast.

That’s what photography does… it creates a relationship between you and the families you serve. You watch them grow right in front of your lens and you get to capture their most meaningful milestones. It’s something I will never take for granted.

Although I barely post my work nowadays, I’m deeply grateful for the clients who continue to trust me — who don’t hire me for a name or a trend, but who hire me for me… for my art, my talent, my heart, and my eye.

I’ll be forever grateful for the Simkins family and for all the families who, after so many years, still return to me to freeze their most important moments in time.
