As was stated on our Instagram post yesterday this problem was years in the making and the condominium management and association maintenance choices are root cause of this event. DAMN GOOD ADVICE; When you own a shared building such as a condominium be involved in the maintenance of your investment, ask questions and demand copies of all reports for you to review yourself. This won’t be the last time this happens and if you remain informed as to the conditions of your building as well as maintenance practices you can save your investment and most importantly yours or someone else’s life! RREAD THE STORY about the previous engineering reports that clearly warned of visible structural issues with the building.

A structural field survey report completed nearly three years before the collapse of the Champlain Towers south condominium complex in Surfside raised concerns about structural damage to the concrete slab below the pool deck and “cracking and spalling” located in the parking garage.

Sundays are for team get togethers because alone we can do so little, but together..... we can do it all 😄
When I first start with MGoC as the Marketing Girl, I was told by everyone to come to breakfast Sunday and that it was mandatory 😯 but that Sunday changed my life! We went over what was accomplished that past week and what was missed, we WROTE DOWN goals (both personal and work related) for the week, and together as a team we came up with ideas on how to accomplish those goals- it made me want to think of bigger goals 😁 the wisdom that was shared was inspiring! I say all that to say..... I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO TODAYS GET TOGETHER! Let's do this MGoC Style 🏘😄💯

The stress marks at each floor of this remaining structure indicates it should be demolished! Don’t save this structure it is fractured and far too damaged for safe occupancy!

With the religious community they have established a community focused EMS service, so when events like the Surfside condo collapse happens not only can the city and county ems service provide service but the community focused Ems services can also provide support and assistance. Further because they are community based they tend to be at the scene before other service providers. This service is not only good for major catastrophes but also minor and major medical emergencies when seconds count to save a life. Consider this when a medical emergency happens or any emergency is not good to see a familiar face from the neighborhood offering a kind word or a helping hand in your time of need. More minority communities need to consider creating local neighborhood Ems services like Hatzala, they an important part of the local community for many reasons but most of because it’s neighbors helping neighbors. Oh almost forgot funding for these services is very interesting but that’s for part two.
