Naples Airport is a finalist! ☀️🏆

The Naples Airport Authority solar project is a finalist in Solar Builder Magazine’s 101 kW to 1 MW | 2026 Project of the Year Awards.

In collaboration with general contractor Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. , PayOli Energy brought 116.1 kW of solar power to the airport’s new warehouse building with a 270-panel rooftop installation. Engineered for Florida’s high-wind requirements, non-penetrating attachments preserve roof integrity while advancing the airport’s sustainability goals.

We are proud to share that PayOli Energy ‘s Founder & CEO, Juan David Payares, has been elected President of the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association (FlaSEIA ).

Since 1977, FlaSEIA has stood as the voice representing Florida’s solar and storage industry. Juan David steps into this role with a commitment to listen first, lead collaboratively, and advance resilient energy infrastructure across our state.

We also congratulate his fellow newly elected officers: Vice President Jacob Traverso (Solar Source ), Treasurer Nick Mobley (Qcells North America ) and Secretary Kelly Miller (Stilwell Solar ).

Precision is everything in high-security aviation environments. We are proud to showcase our recently completed 116.1 kW (100 kW AC) commercial solar installation at the Naples Airport (Naples Airport Authority ).

Partnering with Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. (Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. ), we synced our construction timeline to ensure zero disruption to daily flight operations under strict security constraints. The project features 270 high-efficiency solar panels that now deliver a predictable, fixed-cost energy supply, powering the airport’s vital mission of public safety and regional aviation.
