What an honor to meet Mike Abrashoff, former Commander USS Benfold, and author of It's Your Ship. His powerful and insightful comments today emphasized true leadership, and the power of connection. He said, "I found that 50-60% of my day was spent either listening to sailors or communicating back to them where we're going and why it's important." Instead of solving problems for them, he asked, "if this was your ship, what would you do?"
