An evening across Spain and Argentina.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Private Wealth Management of Coral Gables for a guided tasting with Luis. We opened with a Spanish cava from Penedès, then crossed the Atlantic to two Colección Quinquela red blends from the Famatina Valley, each carrying a painting by Argentina's beloved port painter on its label.

Back in the final.

Argentina knocked out England, and on Sunday they play for the star again. There is one bottle for a week like this.

Estrella del 22, a Malbec Reserva from Mendoza named for the star they won in 2022. 96 points from the Congreso de Asadores Argentinos. Intense violet red, red fruit and sweet spice, soft and velvety with a fresh finish. Made for the asado and the match.
