Today’s sessions at the Saving Our Youth Symposium taught us the importance of patience—not only with ourselves but also with the children we serve.

We were reminded that building stronger communities starts with meaningful conversations, collaboration, and a willingness to listen to different perspectives. Hearing diverse viewpoints on how we can positively impact our youth was both powerful and enlightening.

Today’s discussions also shed light on the home-to-prison pipeline and its connection to the school-to-prison pipeline, emphasizing the importance of taking a holistic approach to understanding the challenges our youth face.

Our youth deserve understanding, advocacy, and communities committed to their success. By coming together, we can turn these conversations into meaningful action and work toward creating brighter futures for the next generation.
