If you're a man with ambitious goals for 2024 and want to spend time with likeminded people, this may be for you 🙂 comment the word BROTHERHOOD (or dm me) if you read the details and want to be a part of this 🤙🏼

I'm looking for 9 other men who are serious about their growth and progress in 2024 to join an accountability group:

- We'll meet virtually once a month
- You're seriously committed to your growth and progress
- You're willing to openly share your goals, progress, achievements, AND setbacks
- Oh, and it's free

I'm doing this for a few reasons:

1) Accountability is a game changer (for me and many others). Telling others you can trust about your goals and meeting with them regularly increases your likelihood to achieve those goals.

2) Iron sharpens iron (as they say). We will learn so much from each other - what works and doesn't, tools that can help, etc.

3) Relationships are the secret in life. There's no telling what can unfold when we build deep, meaningful connections (like this brotherhood).

Even if you've got one very specific goal for the year (earning a certain amount), working on it and sharing your journey with others can help you improve other areas of your life.

Comment (or DM me) BROTHERHOOD if you're in or want to learn more 🔥 have a very Merry Christmas and see you in 2024!

Tell me what you’re doing this week to show yourself some love and to better support yourself throughout each day😊

Last week I was sick, so I rested A LOT. I’m not quite back to 100% but I’m getting there. Being sick has actually been a nice reminder to slow down and to take some me time. I haven’t been doing that all that much lately because I’ve piled so much on my plate. Scheduling time each day to breathe and escape is important for me, so that’s what I’ve done for myself today (well not quite). I’ve thought about this throughout the day and am basically telling myself as I write this post to make it real. So as soon as I post this, I’m going to put a reminder in my phone for the morning and one for the evening to prompt me to take 10 minutes to just sit and breath.

It’s easy to look back and judge yourself. “Wow you’re so stupid”
“How could you not know that?”
“Things could have been so much different”
“How could I not see how my actions would hurt that person?”

Give yourself a break! How could you know what you didn’t know!? It’s seems so logical but I judge myself for being a bad roommate or a bad teammate at times, for reacting a certain way to an event or something somebody said, the list goes on. I’m sure you do this too! But what if we just observed without judgement? What if we acknowledged the mistake and pledged to be better? What if we forgave ourselves like we forgive our friends when they make mistakes? How powerful could that be!?
Live. Experience. Learn. Always on the pursuit to be better.

Happy everybody!! Gonna get these weekly videos going again. I love hearing about how you are all taking steps forward to improve your self care and your lives. Posting these also helps me to stay accountable as well! Comment below with what you’re working on this week and tag a friend to remind them to take some me time❤️❤️

This week my focus is on breaking things down into manageable chunks and focusing on one thing at a time. For me, a looonnnnggg to do list can get overwhelming pretty quickly. I picture all these little tasks as individual legos. When I’m thinking about the 172 things I need to do, these legos quickly stacked on one another and look like a mountain that’s too high to climb. But then I realize “my mind built that mountain and I can just reverse that, break it into little legos, and take things one step at a time.” I write everything down first and then I group things together and simplify. Then I prioritize 3-5 things I can immediately do. I focus one by one and when I finish those 5, I make another prioritized list of 3-5 and repeat. That’s what I’m doing this week. That’s what works for me😊 that’s what helps me calm down and reduce my daily stress.

A HUGE thank you to for helping and supporting me through my first marathon!❤️ from picking out the perfect AirBnB to clipping off my dead toe nails (😂) to taking tons of pictures and videos, Shelby really helped make the four days in Miami last weekend extremely special and a trip I will never forget! Surround yourself with amazing people like her that constantly build you up, support you through anything, and scream louder than anybody else when cheering you on. I hope you’re there for the many more marathons and other challenges to come ❤️

This may just be another picture you see on Instagram but for me, it’s the proudest I’ve ever been of myself ❤️ FIRST MARATHON COMPLETE! 💪🏻🏃🇨🇦🏅

What you see: the sense of pride and accomplishment for overcoming numerous challenges and pushing through everything to finish my first marathon in 4:30:05
——
What you don’t see: the 5.5 months of training, the early morning runs, the leaving parties/social gatherings early, the stretching sessions, the contacting multiple runners/massage therapists to get advice, the multiple people that helped me along the way (THANK YOU! - you know who you are), the constant learning process, the pain of an injury, the mental battle during training sessions AND especially during the actual marathon, the self doubt, the muscle tightness, the cramps, the laying on the ground massaging my leg to get rid of a cramp, the taking an ibuprofen while lying on the ground and accidentally eating the icy hot rub on your hand too 🙈 ... the list goes on
——
Some of the obstacles were expected... some were definitely not. Let go of expectations and enjoy whatever it is you are doing. Push yourself outside your comfort zone and see what you can really do ❤️ I am always here to support you on that journey!
