I am heartbroken writing this. More than a leader, was the heart of —always uplifting others with kindness and grace.

When I moved to Miami, I met Mark at a breakfast. After a quick intro and a photo, he looked at me and asked, Why Miami? What are your goals? His words that morning gave me the push I needed to begin . From that day on, I made sure to thank him every time I saw him—for his kindness and the impact of that moment.

Mark, you made everyone feel seen and included. Your legacy will live on, and you will be so deeply missed.
