The Marlow 82 pilot house is on the hard for the hull paint and bottom work this is going to be a huge improvement we are taking this yacht into the next century with its all new electronic and mechainal systems this will be the first of its kind in many ways and we will be running it from miami to Seattle showing off its capability . Famous yacht custom built for Jimmy Dean the 1990 Dennison 109 Big Bad John is up for sale . I am the third owner purchasing this yacht after the second owner passed away and the yacht sat for a number of years . There has been a ton of money been spent bringing this yacht up to good mechanical working condition and functional to cruise or live aboard now . There are still projects to be completed but the hard stuff is done . The yacht has twin Detroit 16v149 ddec mains with the 2250hp tune per main as well as 2 northern lights 6cyl turbo diesel 65 kw generators. The zf transmissions and engines have electronic shifters 4 stations for running and docking that all work and have been rebuilt , the 16” bow thruster runs off the port generator and is a power house , the yacht is very easy to run with 2 people . The steering system has been all rebuilt the stabilizers have been started getting g rebuilt but will need to have seals done and bearings service when pulled , the bottom was sounded and found to be in very good condition and recieved a full bottom job in June of last year after purchase .
The galley is all new with stainless appliances granite counter tops and laminate flooring , the wiring was inspected and the new switch panels has been started by marine geek to go with all new dimmer led bulbs and WiFi controls , the yacht has 6 beds 7 baths 3 crew cabins and 2 guest with one full beam king owners suit with his and her heads . All new washer and dryers in the yacht as well as all new bilge pumps agm batteries exc the yacht will need wall coverings although they have been removed and all surfaces have been primed and painted for now the floor decoration will need to be updated as well as some wood work done , the windshields and side windows have been pulled and resealed . The chillers were pulled but there are 2 low hour 5 ton units ready to be installed but there is a 3 ton mini split set up for now . The top
Side davit has been rebuilt and is functional with a working limit of 3600lbs which picked a 16’ Donzi and set up top for a tender originally. There is so much potential for this yacht . It last sold for 2 million dollars and is worth a lot . The new 5 blade props are reported to have a 20/24 knot cruise with a 34 knot top speed at 2250 but I’ve only cruised it at 18 kn @ 1650 rpm the vessel tanks an impressive 12k gallons of fuel and at 10 knots with burn rate with gens is 34gph giving you distane . Dual water makers both function and new membranes come with the deal . All the circulation pumps have been replaced on the yacht which come with spares , the vessel is capable of going anywhere now and just needs your finishing touches . It is priced well below its real value to include what I have invested but other opportunities need funding . 485k cash 550k trade I will entertain cash/trade deals for other yachts or real estate this is my personal yacht and I have invested too many man hours to count and over $500k since its purchase .
