Hello everyone! I have registered as a participant in the 2021 Virtual MK5K® My Way event to benefit Mary Kay Ash Foundation℠. This event is designed to raise awareness and funds for Mary Kay Ash Foundation's programs and services. The Foundation has a two-fold mission: to fund research for cancers affecting women and help prevent domestic violence while raising awareness for these issues. Any amount, great or small, allows Mary Kay Ash Foundation℠ to help women impacted by cancer and domestic violence.
Our support for domestic violence services is more important than ever. Data shows that since the outbreak of COVID-19, violence against women and girls, and particularly domestic violence, has intensified. Under stay-at-home orders, women with violent partners increasingly find themselves isolated from the people and resources that can help them. By providing funding to domestic violence shelters, we can help ensure women have access to live-saving services.
The 2021 MK5K® My Way virtual event began on Friday, October 1st and ends on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021.
