One of the highlights of this year’s annual WQA Convention—our very own President, Randy Cripe, was recognized as a Next Gen Award recipient.

Presented each year, this award honors emerging leaders who are helping shape the future of the water treatment industry. It’s a well-deserved recognition of Randy’s leadership, vision, and the impact he continues to make at Hawkins Water Tech.

We’re proud to have him leading our team and excited for what’s ahead. Please join us in congratulating Randy on this achievement! 👏

This morning, we kicked off our day with a relay race that brought together teamwork, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition💧

Each team member raced to assemble a section of PEX piping using T-fittings, working together to build an “H” for Hawkins. Along the way, everyone answered trivia questions about water treatment and the history of Hawkins Water Tech before tagging in the next teammate.

It was a fun way to start the day, reinforce what we know, and remind ourselves that every piece—and every person—plays an important role in what we are building together each day.

As our high school apprentice through the CareerWise program, Blake recently completed his first water softener and reverse osmosis system install. It’s been great to see how much he’s learned already, and we’re excited to watch his continued progress.
