Introducing our Special Projects Coordinator Emily!

Emily is recent graduate from the University of Vermont where she studied Community-Centered Design with a concentration in Green Building. She is passionate about community engagement, placemaking, and design. Emily has done community engagement work with Community Workshop before, and looks forward to future projects. Her favorite part about engagement is chatting with people and thinking about different placemaking strategies.

The Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development is thrilled to announce the launch of Better Places, a statewide placemaking program that empowers Vermonters to create and build vibrant and inclusive public places.
