This pressurized irrigation station features 10 HP, 15 HP, and 40 HP vertical turbine pumps, along with automatic filtration, VFD controls, and a complete electrical/control system.

Well that's not what you want to see on a Friday before temperatures hit 100°. Flooded the breaker panel and all the way up and over a 114 amp drive! We were able to get everything pumped out and replaced the breakers and the drive before the weekend. Never know what you're going to find on a Friday.

Something to keep in mind throughout the valley.

Due to ongoing dry conditions and low snowpack across the Treasure Valley, the Caldwell Municipal Irrigation District (CMID) continues to experience a challenging irrigation season.

Please keep the following in mind:
• Lower pressure and reduced water delivery will continue.
• The irrigation season may still end earlier than normal.
• No Billing Credits will be given for a shortened season: Please note that season-long fixed rates apply regardless of water availability or season length. In Idaho, assessments pay for access to the system, not a guaranteed amount of water.

To help protect the system and prevent outages, residents are strongly encouraged to follow an odd/even watering schedule:
• Odd-numbered addresses water on odd-numbered days.
• Even-numbered addresses water on even-numbered days.

Using the cycle and soak method, multiple shorter watering sessions, can help reduce runoff and improve irrigation in dry soil. Watering every other day can also support deeper root growth and drought tolerance.

Pump station reminders:
• During business hours, crews prioritize main line repairs and leaks before restarting stations.
• After dark, pump restarts are handled the following morning for crew safety.
