What a great week of clinical discussions and connections with burn care professionals from around the world at the 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐈𝐒𝐁𝐈)!

Our breakfast symposium featured 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐧, 𝐌𝐃, 𝐌𝐏𝐇, 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐒, discussing approaches to pain management and antimicrobial protection in donor site care. 𝐀𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐲 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐥, 𝐌𝐃, 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐒, 𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐒, 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐀, also presented two posters highlighting the science and clinical applications of 𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐱™ 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 in burn care.

We were also pleased to see 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐚, 𝐌𝐃, 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐜𝐢ó𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐞 𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐭á, 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚, deliver two podium presentations highlighting 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐞® use in burn patients.

For 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐤 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐌.𝐃., Professor of Surgery and Director of the Kessler Burn Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center's Strong Memorial Hospital, managing skin graft donor sites means addressing pain, infection risk, and healing together.
