Online meetings have become a part of daily life during the pandemic. Two recent studies by Stanford University researchers show that video meetings are more exhausting than in-person meetings. This is attributed to 4 factors:
1. Excessive amounts of close-up eye contact is highly intense.
2.Seeing yourself during video chats constantly in real-time is fatiguing.
3.Video chats dramatically reduce our usual mobility.
4.The cognitive load is much higher in video chats.

Big Improvement in Jobless Claims- the labor market is improving!

Across the county, 576,000 workers filed for new unemployment benefits during the week ending April 10, a decrease of 193,000 from the previous week and the lowest level of first-time jobless claims since March 2020!
