A few recent jobs.

Today I want to throw a shout out to the guys that work the ground underneath me and keep me as safe as possible while climbing. I have to trust my life to a few strong backs and ropes at times. Their ability to stop me and give me thoughts and suggestions on what I’m doing is always welcomed. On the ground looks different than what I see in the tree. They keep our customers property safe. Holding pieces of wood that weigh 100s of pounds 20 ft in the air over top a roof. If I get into an in air predicament, those guys get me what I need to get myself back together.

Customers and neighbors come outside to watch me climb and cut but often times miss the true value of the guys on the ground putting in tons of hard and dangerous work.

Throwing on my business owner cap today and doing a quick estimate on some storm damage in Damascus.

I want to remind all you home owners that winter is coming!!! That means cold, frozen dead limbs that will become very brittle in the next coming months. Take stock of the death that may have happened to your trees this year from all the insects and it’s been a rough year for ivy. Those dead limbs don’t take much in a winter wind storm to come down and damage property.

Don’t ever take for granted the amount of damage that can be caused by a branch that is 5ft long and 3in in diameter.

Putting some work in here at the house. Opening up this back yard and allowing more sunlight in. Also pulling all branches away from power lines. Going to look amazing once I’m done. I’m going to use all the branches for mulch in my gardens. Free natural resources!!!

For 8 years I carried this officer survival creed. I lived by survival words and still do now while in trees and going through divorce.
