Candice Russell, Realtor REALTOR® at EXP Realty, LLC | DE | PA | MD | Where People Come First and Homes Follow. Hello There!

My name is Candice Russell and I would like to thank you for visiting my website. I am a client-focused real estate agent who is dedicated to helping buyers, sellers and investors navigate the market with confidence. I am licensed in Delaware, Pennsylvania & Maryland but I have amazing colleagues who are able to assist in any state, as well as several other countries. My primary goal is to support

my clients by educating them about the real estate process, setting action plans to help them reach their goals, being honest and moving at their pace. My deep understanding of the Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania & The Eastern Shore of Maryland markets combined with my commitment to exceptional service ensures that my clients achieve their real estate goals--whether it's finding the perfect home, securing top dollar for a sale, or making a smart investment. I pride myself on my upfront, honest and personalized approach to assisting my clients because I believe that Real Estate isn't just about transactions; it's about relationships. A little bit about me: I am happily married to my wonderful husband Sam, I have four children ( and 2 fur babies and I was born, raised and am a proud lifetime resident of Delaware. I have over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry where I learned and mastered excellent communication skills, professionalism and time management. I use these skills in addition to many others to provide exceptional service to my clients. My passion for real estate: I purchased my own newly constructed home many years ago without the assistance of a real estate agent and that was a huge mistake! The main reason that I did so was because I simply wasn't educated enough about the process as a first time home buyer. I did succeed; however, going through that process sparked a passion in me to make sure that no other home buyer would have to struggle through the process, if I can help it. I look forward to helping your real estate dreams become a reality!

Buyers are doing their homework before they ever walk through the front door. They have already seen the photos, compared nearby listings, studied the condition, and formed an opinion about whether the home feels worth seeing.

That makes the first days on the market especially important for sellers. A home that is positioned well from the beginning can create confidence. One that feels disconnected from the competition may leave buyers wondering what they are missing.

Presentation and pricing should tell the same story: this home is prepared, cared for, and ready to be considered seriously.

I always encourage sellers to look at their home through a buyer’s eyes before listing. The smallest disconnect can become the reason someone keeps scrolling.

More choices can make a home search exciting, but they can also make it surprisingly easy to lose focus. After touring several homes, every kitchen starts blending together and the comparison game takes over.

Instead of asking whether one home is better than the last, bring the decision back to your own priorities.

Does the location support your routine? Does the layout work for the way you live? Are the compromises things you can comfortably accept?

The goal is not to find the house with the longest list of features. It is to recognize the home that fits your life best.

I tell buyers to create a simple top three before touring. When a home checks those boxes, it deserves a closer look.

Save this for your next showing day.

The dream home checklist is getting more practical. Beautiful finishes still catch the eye, but buyers are paying closer attention to the spaces that make daily life easier.

A room that can shift from office to guest space. Storage that actually keeps clutter under control. Outdoor areas that extend the way a home can be used. These are the features that often become more valuable after move in.

For your next home search, try separating your list into two categories:

• Features that improve everyday life
• Features that simply look good in photos

Both can matter, but knowing the difference helps you shop with more intention.

If you could add one practical feature to your next home, what would make the biggest difference?

September has a way of putting routines back into focus, and real estate goals deserve the same reset. If buying or selling has been sitting in the “later” category, this is a good time to turn that idea into an actual plan.

Start with the questions that create clarity. Is your timeline flexible? Has your wish list changed? Are you preparing for a move this fall, or simply getting ready for next year?

The market does not have to feel perfectly predictable before you make progress. Preparation gives you something headlines cannot: confidence in your own next step.

I always recommend learning your options before you need to make a decision. A little planning now can make the entire process feel more manageable later.

Is real estate part of your fall goals? Send me a message and let’s start with the first question.

As August comes to an end, it's the perfect time to reflect on your real estate goals and think about what's next.

Whether you're planning to buy, sell, invest, or simply learn more about the market, every successful move starts with a conversation and a clear plan.

You don't have to have all the answers today.

You simply have to know where you want to go.

Real estate isn't about predicting the future.

It's about making informed decisions that help you build the future you want.

If a move is on your horizon, I'd be happy to help you create a strategy that fits your goals.

Here's to new opportunities in the months ahead.

Every buyer's wish list is different, but several priorities continue to stand out this year.

Many buyers are looking for homes that offer:

• Flexible spaces for working from home.

• Functional kitchens with plenty of storage.

• Outdoor living areas for relaxing and entertaining.

• Energy-efficient features.

• Neighborhoods that support their lifestyle.

The biggest trend isn't a specific style or design.

It's choosing a home that makes everyday life easier.

The best home isn't necessarily the biggest.

It's the one that fits your life today while giving you room to grow tomorrow.

Which feature is at the top of your wish list?

"The best investment on Earth is earth."
– Louis Glickman

Real estate has always been about more than buying property.

It's about creating stability, building memories, investing in your future, and finding a place that truly feels like home.

Whether you're purchasing your first home, upgrading, downsizing, or simply planning for what's next, every move should support the life you want to build.

A home isn't just where life happens.

It's where your future begins.

If you could describe your dream home in one word, what would it be?

Mortgage rates are an important part of the home buying conversation, but they aren't the only factor worth considering.

Finding the right location, choosing a home that fits your lifestyle, understanding your long-term goals, and creating a realistic financial plan all play an equally important role.

Many successful homeowners didn't wait for perfect conditions.

They focused on finding the right home at the right time for their personal situation.

Every buyer's journey is different, and the best decision is the one that makes sense for you.

If buying a home is one of your future goals, starting the conversation early can help you feel more prepared when the opportunity comes.

Luxury real estate continues to evolve, and today's buyers are redefining what premium living looks like.

For many younger buyers, it's less about excess and more about intentional living. Walkable communities, wellness spaces, home offices, outdoor entertaining areas, smart home technology, and thoughtfully designed architecture are becoming just as desirable as impressive square footage.

Today's dream home isn't simply beautiful.

It supports the lifestyle people want to create.

No matter your price point, choosing a home that aligns with your goals and everyday routines will always be one of the best investments you can make.

Which modern feature would be at the top of your wish list?

Some homes feel just as beautiful twenty years later as they did the day they were built. That's the difference between following trends and investing in timeless design. 🏡✨

While bold colors and viral design trends can be fun, the homes that truly stand the test of time are built around quality, comfort, and functionality. Thoughtful lighting, natural materials, clean architectural details, and spaces that make everyday living easier never go out of style. Instead of asking, "Will this be popular next year?" try asking, "Will I still love this five or ten years from now?"

Whether you're updating your forever home or preparing to sell someday, timeless design creates spaces that feel welcoming to everyone. It allows your personality to shine while giving future buyers the opportunity to imagine making the home their own.

The best homes aren't defined by the latest trend, they're remembered because they simply feel right.

Are you drawn more to timeless design or the newest trends? Let me know in the comments.
