Orchid Cellar is Maryland's premier meadery and winery bringing the world's oldest alcohol into the 21st century. We specialize in unique meads ranging from dry to sweet, still to sparkling, and fruity to earthy to even spicy. With our variety of meads and limited wine options, there is certainly a beverage for everyone to enjoy! Our hand-built, log cabin tasting room sits amongst 15 acres with a

serene mountain view. Sit and sip mead on our wrap-around deck or explore our property with glass in hand. You can view the vineyard, say hello to our chickens and bees, roast s’mores at our fire pit, or challenge your friends to a game of cornhole. Be sure to check out artwork and gifts from local artists and vendors. Cheese platters and small snacks are available for purchase or feel free to bring your own picnic. Head over to our Events for the food truck and live music schedule. A guided tour of the grounds and facility is available at 2:30pm, upon request, every day we are open. Our vineyard lab, Carmen, loves making new friends so feel free to bring your friendly pup. All ages are welcome, but visitors must be 21+ to drink.
