Fathom Resources owns and operates a fleet of trailerable coastal support vessels ranging from 14 to 28 feet, providing reliable support for a wide variety of marine operations.

Our vessels are operated by USCG-licensed captains with hands-on experience across the full range of Fathom’s field programs. Our fleet is maintained for year-round operational readiness, allowing Fathom’s diving operations, observer deployments, environmental surveys, and monitoring assignments to be completed efficiently and fully in-house.

Fathom Resources recently conducted marine offshore safety certification training for a group of local marine scientists, focusing on cold-water survival procedures, marine safety equipment, and onboard emergency drills. Trainees received hands-on instruction designed to improve emergency preparedness, reinforce safe work practices, and build confidence in responding to emergencies at sea.

As a USCG-approved, AMSEA-certified marine safety training provider, Fathom develops customized training programs tailored to the operational needs of marine industries, government agencies, and research organizations.

Meet Fathom Resources' president, Ward! Ward oversees and manages daily operations of all departments at Fathom Resources. Over the course of his career, he has managed over 100 marine related projects throughout the East Coast and the Great Lakes, in fields of commercial and scientific diving, geophysical and geotechnical survey, archaeological investigation, and protected species and commercial fishery management.

In Ward's free time he enjoys playing soccer and snowboarding, and his favorite food is Mexican!
