Fathom Resources recently conducted a survey in Massachusetts, where we studied local shellfish populations. Fathom conducts customized environmental surveys in a variety of coastal and marine habitats to meet every project's unique needs. Our surveys are conducted fully in-house from project planning and ex*****on through comprehensive data analysis and reporting.

Fathom Resources fisheries observers participated in National Marine Fisheries Service first ever specialized cross-training for the Industry Funded Scallop (IFS) program, expanding their qualifications. What this means for our clients: faster deployments, increased flexibility, and higher levels of observer expertise.

The Fathom Resources dive team recently completed a job moving mooring anchors and connecting the chain and line for University of Rhode Island's Research Vessel Endeavor. These photos are of a lift bag that was used to move 5,000 lb anchors underwater! The anchors will keep R/V Endeavor from damaging itself and the new pier in adverse weather. Our dive team provides mooring anchor maintenance and inspection all year long in many marinas in the Narragansett Bay.

Observers on the lookout! This Protected Species Observer (PSO) is visually monitoring the area for the presence of protected marine species. Fathom employs NMFS approved PSOs to help a wide range of industries meet their regulatory compliance needs. PSOs are trained professionals who provide monitoring and mitigation services for protected marine species.
