Cybersecurity doesn’t always start with a complicated solution.

Some of the most important steps are also the fundamentals:
🔐 Require multi-factor authentication
🎣 Train employees to recognize phishing and social engineering
🔄 Keep software and systems patched
🔑 Strengthen password and account security

Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a good reminder to check whether the basics are actually being followed across your organization, not just whether policies exist on paper.

The Charles IT team recently attended Day One Rhode Island’s Light the Way Gala in support of their mission to combat interpersonal and sexual abuse and support the Rhode Island community.
