**LEGISLATIVE UPDATE**

SB163 failed to secure enough signatures to be release from committee. Senator Bruce Ennis, Senator Greg Lavelle, and Senator Dave Lawson would not sign the backer causing it to fail to release and we should all remember this come election time!

HOWEVER, the bill can still be introduced on the Senate floor with a suspension of the rules. This fight isn't over until the bill hasn't been passed and it is July 2nd. At that point the bill is dead.

Keep up the fight and the pressure and don't forgot to attend the Delaware Gun Rights Final Showdown on June 30th!

Applicants will be expected to undergo an extensive screening process and complete a comprehensive fi****ms training course with the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

This story blames legal gun owners.

Since everyone demands our sources for data.... we'd like to see where the data says legal gun owners shot ... ANYONE.

The narrative that those who own guns legally are who society should fear is becoming outright silly and deceitful.

The truth is, according to actual data from law enforcement, it is the same 1% of criminals offending over and over due to the new criminal justice reform that allows even mass shooters to attain low bail.

According to the definition of mass shooter, the man who shot 4 individuals at a Dover restaurant qualifies as a mass shooter.

Why was he released just hours after he shot those 4 people?

Chief Tracy is right: our bail system, destroyed by the same people who want to restrict your right to bear arms, is broken and releasing violent criminals the same day, to continue victimizing our cities and towns, isn't going to fix the problem.

From Feb. 2nd, WDEL story: "Tracy said he was concerned about the bail system, which saw 60% of those charged with a gun crime released."

Instead of passing more gun control, which disproportionately and negatively affects the law-abiding, which criminals will ignore, and the AG’s office will drop, Delaware needs to focus on the root cause: the person committing the crime.

Continue to engage your elected officials and tell them to keep their hands off your rights and start addressing the root causes of violence.

Firing a subsequent bullet into the bore obstruction could cause firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable and subjecting the shooter and bystanders to a risk of serious personal injury.

Rep. Sean Lynn added an amendment striking all changes to SB 147 that pertain to non-law enforcement!!

HIGH ALERT!!!
SB 147 is bad news FOR WOMEN!! This will be voted on TOMORROW! Call your Representative and your Senator. Tell them to VOTE NO!!

If you have to defend yourself you will no longer be viewed as the victim in the eyes of the law.
SB 147 will immediately make YOU the DEFENDANT .... AKA the one who committed a crime.
You will then have to PROVE you were the victim while the attacker gets a free lawyer, his/her rights guaranteed, and all kinds of state funded services.
This takes away your ability to provide prior knowledge of the person attacking you.
This takes away your ability to speak for yourself.

This bill would give a random person the right to tell the court what YOU were thinking, what you were feeling, what your state of mind was, and IF you even needed to defend yourself in the way you did.

While legislators, like Sean Lynn and Sherry Dorsey-Walker, are adamantly advertising this bill as "police reform", it ABSOLUTELY is NOT just for law enforcement.

SB 147 Title 11, the use of force code for every person, civilian and law enforcement in the state of Delaware.

SB 147 changes each of those, for you AND for law enforcement.
