Tip Tuesday 📊 | How to Calculate Estimated Tax Payments

Are you a business owner, freelancer, or 1099 contractor?

Here's a simple formula:

✅ Estimate your annual net profit
✅ Multiply by your estimated tax rate (typically 20%–30% for many small business owners)
✅ Divide by 4 for quarterly payments

Example:

Expected Net Profit: $50,000
Estimated Tax Rate: 25%
Estimated Annual Tax: $12,500
Quarterly Payment: $3,125

💡 Pro Tip: Set aside a percentage of every payment you receive into a separate tax savings account. This makes quarterly payments much easier to manage.

After stepping away from the nonprofit sector, I took time to focus on several important areas of my life — growing my businesses, caring for my family, and re-evaluating my priorities and long-term goals.

During this season, I have dedicated my energy to building Entrusted with Purpose Enterprises LLC, where I focus on business systems, operational consulting, and helping organizations create more efficient and sustainable processes. I have also continued growing Entrusted Tax Services and More, providing tax preparation, business support, and administrative services to individuals and entrepreneurs.

This time away gave me valuable perspective, renewed clarity, and an even deeper passion for service-driven work. As I move into this next chapter, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the community, building meaningful partnerships, and finding new ways to contribute and serve.
