Hi friends. Many of you know https://www.facebook.com/mikemcmath.emptycanvas and the lung disease he has been battling the last 5 1/2 years. Things have taken a turn and he is now hospitalized and awaiting a double lung transplant. The family has established a Caring Bridge site where you can get updates and potentially find ways to help once they've figured out what is best. I'm also working with some of the fabulous musicians in our amazing community to organize some type of benefit. More details to come as they are finalized. Feel free to show the family your love and support, and please keep them in your prayers.

Are you ready to have a little fun while we wait for spring to arrive? Come on out Friday night to MI Element in MIdland. Fröhliche Musiker Blasorchester (FYI we are rebranding to Frohliche Polka Band this spring - woot!!!) is performing on Friday night 8-10 pm. And it's free. Hope to see some of my friends there!

So excited to represent 4 amazing musical groups at Michigan's Association of Fairs and Events in Grand Rapids! Empty Canvas performed at Showcase on Thursday night and created a beautiful painting that was auctioned off at the Awards Banquet.
