This evening, the MVFD members conducted a training exercise with our new engine, involving supply line deployment, water flow, and nozzle testing. We received a surprise call from Big Kat Pizza's Billy, who needed our assistance with removing an item from his shop. We drove to the front of the shop and entered to find a large, white paper-wrapped object, which initially led me to believe we were retrieving a body. However, Billy kindly provided our members with a massive 5-foot hoagie, a trial run of his newest soon to be menu item. The sub was substantial and heavy. We loaded it onto the fire truck and brought it back to our training location, where Billy soon arrived to cut and serve it. The members express their gratitude to Big Kat Pizza for the tasty sandwich, it was really good!

Midland 4th of July Parade Invitation

The Midland 4th of July Committee cordially invites fire departments from Beaver County and surrounding areas of Ohio and West Virginia to participate in the Midland 4th of July parade.

Lineup commences: 9:00 AM at the west end of town
Parade start time: 10:00 AM sharp

We look forward to celebrating Independence Day with our neighboring communities and appreciation the dedication and service of all participating fire departments.
