Aphasia affects a person's ability to communicate, but it does not affect their intelligence. Often caused by stroke, brain injury, or other neurological conditions, aphasia can create challenges with speaking, understanding, reading, and writing.

At St. Joseph's Home Health, we understand that aphasia impacts not only the individual but also their loved ones. Our team is dedicated to helping patients regain confidence, improve communication skills, and maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes.

This summer, Senior Life Midland is once again hosting our annual Fan Drive with our friends at KICKS 99 to help keep our homebound elderly of Meals on Wheels cool during the hottest months of the year. 🌡️
Many of the seniors we serve live on fixed incomes and struggle to keep their homes comfortable during the hottest temperatures. A simple fan can make a tremendous difference in their health, comfort, and quality of life. ❤️🫶
We invite our community to join us in supporting our elderly neighbors by donating fans at Senior Life Miland on June 20th and helping us spread the word!
