💜 National Sarcoidosis Awareness Day

Today, we’re raising awareness about sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease that most commonly affects the lungs and lymph nodes.

For individuals managing sarcoidosis or other chronic conditions, having the right support at home can make a difference. Home health professionals can provide skilled nursing, patient education, symptom monitoring, and support with following the plan of care established by the healthcare team.

At St. Joseph’s Home Health, we’re committed to helping patients manage their health and maintain their quality of life in the comfort of home. 🏡💜

Awareness. Education. Compassionate care.

🧠💜 Feed Your Mind: Caring for Your Brain at Every Age

Some of our St. Joseph’s Home Health team had the opportunity to attend Mind Matters: Caring for Your Brain at Every Age, featuring Dr. Jonathan Singer, Director of the TTUHSC Memory Care Clinic.

This inspiring luncheon focused on the importance of brain health at every stage of life — from protecting memory and maintaining mental clarity to recognizing early signs of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

At St. Joseph’s Home Health, we believe caring for our patients means caring for the whole person, and continuing to learn about the health and well-being of the communities we serve. 💙

Thank you to the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health for bringing our community together for such an important conversation!

🧠 Healthy minds. Informed communities. Compassionate care.

💜 A LITTLE MORE KINDNESS GOES A LONG WAY.

There’s something special about people who make others feel seen, valued, and cared for.

That’s a reminder we’re carrying with us at St. Joseph’s Home Health. Whether we’re caring for a patient at home, spending time with seniors in our community, or simply showing up when someone needs us—kindness matters.

And sometimes, the smallest act of kindness becomes a memory someone carries with them for years. 💜

What’s one kind thing someone has done for you that you’ll never forget?

💜 Who Can Benefit From Home Health?

Home health can be an important part of recovery and ongoing care for people who need skilled healthcare in the comfort of their own home.

You or a loved one may benefit from home health after:

🩺 Managing a chronic condition — when ongoing monitoring and skilled care may help.

🩹 A wound or medication needs — when skilled nursing support is needed at home.

🚶 Changes in strength, balance, or mobility — when physical or occupational therapy may help improve independence.

🏡 Difficulty with everyday activities — when therapy can help make daily life safer and easier.

Home health needs are different for everyone, and care is based on the individual’s needs and eligibility.

At St. Joseph’s Home Health, our team provides skilled nursing, private pay care and provider services throughout 17 counties across West Texas.

💜 What Does Home Health Actually Mean?

When you hear the words “home health,” what comes to mind?

Home health is skilled, personalized healthcare provided in a patient’s home to help them recover from illness or injury, manage a health condition, improve their independence, and stay safely at home.

Depending on a patient’s needs and eligibility, home health services may include:

🩺 Skilled Nursing — monitoring health conditions, managing medications, caring for wounds, and providing skilled clinical care.

🏃 Physical Therapy — helping improve strength, mobility, balance, and physical function.

👐 Occupational Therapy — helping patients safely perform everyday activities and maintain independence.

👩‍⚕️ Provider Services — supporting patients with their ongoing healthcare needs.

Home health care is typically ordered by a healthcare provider when a patient meets the requirements for receiving care at home.

At St. Joseph’s Home Health, we believe understanding your care options is an important part of making informed decisions for yourself or someone you love.

We’re proud to provide compassionate, personalized care throughout 17 counties across West Texas. 💜

Sometimes, the best place to receive care is home.

🎂💜 Celebrating Mrs. Delma! 💜🎉

A little look back at a beautiful birthday celebration for Mrs. Delma, with Mr. Luis and the Scroffs! 🥳🎈

Moments like these remind us that care is about more than what we do — it’s about the relationships we build, the memories we share, and celebrating the people who mean so much to our community. 💜
