A heartfelt thank you to the Richmond-Petersburg Chapter of North Carolina Central University (NCCU) under the leadership of Ms. Lauren Mallory for exemplifying Truth and Service this holiday season!

Annual Scholarship Jazz & More Dinner and Dance: Supporting scholarships for local students attending NCCU.
🍁 Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners: Provided to families in need.

In our first semester, the Distinguished Wave of Petersburg embraced a powerful truth: Turn to each other, not on each other.

As Head Marshal at Virginia State University, I had the privilege of guiding an extraordinary group of graduates, including members of the Sport Management Majors Club, into the next chapter of their lives. These remarkable leaders crossed the stage with a degree in one hand and boundless opportunities in the other—a reflection of our mission to shape future trailblazers.

A personal highlight was meeting Dr. Steve Perry, an icon in education and mentorship, and standing alongside Dr. Makola Abdullah, VSU's inspiring leader. Their passion for empowering young people reminds me why this work matters—to inspire, uplift, and create pathways for greatness.

Here’s to the Class of 2024—a generation defined by resilience, excellence, and the drive to succeed. I’m excited to see them carry these values into the world and make their mark. 💙✨
