Spent my last few weeks helping my friends husband who is in critical condition after a fall in June. Organized paperwork and taxes for the past 10 years as well as assisting with care.

Just returned from three weeks on the farm cooking and caregiving for my beach buddy who had a knee replacement who’s hubby has Parkinson’s. A privilege.

Friday begins two weeks caregiving (not my usual which is more administrative) for a post knee surgery buddy and her husband who suffers from Parkinson’s.

Covid impacted my getting to my clients but we’re back and rolling!

After paying bills and teaching some electronics- I went off the clock but stayed and taught my client the card game: spite and malice! FUN!

Covid has it's crazy side effects this past year, but I'm fortunate to have gotten my vaccine early so I could visit my folks in residential facilities. This week my tasks included sorting all the mail, paying all the bills, running all the errands, navigating electronics, negotiating with vendors, hauling stuff to storage.... and then we'd go out to eat! Thanks to God for this service!

So Covid has added its own twists to serving Seniors but I’ve kept busy most recently preparing all the tax information along with redecorating, Bill paying, groceries runs, vacation planning and companionship. God is good!
