🚨CVSA International Roadcheck 2026: Are You Ready? 🚨
From May 12–14, inspectors across North America will conduct the CVSA International Roadcheck, a 72-hour inspection and enforcement initiative focused on keeping our roads safe.
🔍 What’s happening?
During this period, inspectors will perform the Level I Inspection—a detailed 37-step process reviewing both:
✔️ Driver compliance (licenses, medical cards, ELD logs, Clearinghouse status, and signs of impairment)
✔️ Vehicle safety (brakes, tires, lighting, cargo securement, and more)
❗ Out-of-service violations can immediately sideline a driver or vehicle until issues are corrected—so preparation is critical.
🎯 2026 Focus Areas:
🔹 Driver: ELD tampering, falsification, or manipulation of records of duty status
🔹 Vehicle: Cargo securement—ensuring loads are properly secured to prevent roadway hazards
📊 With tens of thousands of violations issued last year related to ELDs and cargo securement, enforcement will be paying close attention.
✅ Pro Tip:
Make sure your logs are accurate, your cargo is secure, and all documentation is up to date before hitting the road.
Vehicles that pass inspection may receive a CVSA decal, helping avoid re-inspection for up to 3 months.
