Good concrete work is a process that starts with proper preparation and grading, moves into careful placement and screeding, and finishes with the details that give the pavement a clean, consistent surface.

These photos capture a few of those steps in action — and the crew behind them. Proud of the CLLA Group team for staying focused on the details from the ground up. 👊

CLLA completed the first rock salt finish pour on the project, and we’re glad to hear the client and their engineers were pleased with the results.

We’re back at it today with the next pour underway. Another step forward and another example of the detail our crews bring to every project.

Did you know? 💡

Concrete doesn’t reach its full design strength the day it’s poured.

While it begins to harden within hours, it continues curing and gaining strength over time. That’s one of the reasons proper preparation and curing are so important to long-term performance.

Getting it right starts long before the concrete is ready for traffic. 👊
