Good afternoon! Along with almost everyone else in the World, we are closely monitoring information as it becomes available about the Novel Corona Virus from accredited sources (the World Health Organization and Center for Disease Control). Information provided by various media outlets is cross checked for accuracy.
The best management practices recommended by the WHO and CDC really do not change our day to day service routine much: We've always worn proper protective gear (to include respirators, nitrile rubber gloves, and safety glasses) and practiced good personal hygiene by frequently washing our hands due to using pesticides in our day to day job activities.
Because 90% of the service work we provide for our customers is exterior service, we intend to continue with our regular work schedule. Four season maintenance service work started this week, and Summer maintenance service work starts the last week in March.
When one of our service technicians is required to do any interior service work; we will be donning a fresh pair of nitrile rubber gloves between each service performed as well as washing our hands with antibacterial soap following each service. Equipment and hand tools used for interior work will be sanitized with clorox wipes between interior service visits.
If one of our employees is exhibiting any symptoms that would suggest illness like the Novel Corona Virus they will not work. We ask that if you are feeling ill or displaying any symptoms you postpone any non-essential interior work until a later date. If it is a pest control emergency or essential interior work please give us proper notification of any symptoms so we can wear appropriate protective gear during your interior service as well as maintain recommended social distancing.
If you have any questions or concerns about our (not so) new policies in place, please reach out to Toby on his cell phone at (717) 513-3732. If you'd like to postpone or cancel service until a later date, please call Trish at (717) 513-5309. Thank you all; stay healthy and stay safe!
