Getting ready for my show this Saturday!

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. Things have been super hectic with life, honestly. My daughter keeps me busy and I’ve just got a lot on my plate. On top of that, I’m cranking out art for my next few shows—I signed up for five of them over the next two months. I’m so excited!

In case anyone was wondering, I closed my Etsy shop. I’m not sure if I’ll head back there since I’m not really a fan of how they do business, but I’ll keep you posted. As we transition into the autumn season, I wanted to set the mood accordingly.

I typically do not use ink dye in these specific molds, at least not in the manner I applied it here, but I attempted to rectify the appearance by adding a background to the central section. I believe this improved the overall result.

TIME FOR THE REVEAL!

I really love making these resin trays, and the different colors have been a huge hit, so they always sell out fast.

Just a heads-up that these are made of epoxy resin and are meant for decoration, not as functional ashtrays. They're great conversation starters - my husband uses his in his office to hold guitar picks.
