šŸ¤”Is your AI adoption stalling — or is your workflow just not ready for it?

šŸ›‘Schneider Electric's CMO shared something at B2B Online last week that stopped me.

šŸ‘100% of pilot users would recommend their AI tools to a colleague. Only 55% felt personally ready to use them daily.

Same tools. Same team. Completely different answers.

😮That gap isn't a technology problem. It's a workflow problem.

The tools were deployed. The habits weren't rebuilt around them.

šŸ‘‰Most companies we talk to measure a rollout by what got installed. The harder measure is what actually changed in how people work every day.

Those are two different questions, and most implementations only answer the first one.

Before we talk tools with any client, we ask two things: what decision needs to improve, and whose daily habit has to change for that to happen? If you can't answer both, the rollout isn't ready.

⚔The real question isn't whether AI works. It's whether the workflow around it was rebuilt to make adoption the path of least resistance.

If your tools are in place but behavior hasn't changed, that's the gap worth looking at.

šŸ”·I'd be glad to talk through what we've seen work.

CRM migrations fail for a predictable reason, and it's rarely the software.

šŸ‘‰It's the data that moves with it. Addresses concatenated into a single field. Currency formats that crash imports. Quote items stripped of their pricing references.

The legacy mess doesn't disappear when you change platforms. It arrives on the other side, faster and harder to fix.

šŸ’Æ What actually works is Crawl-Walk-Run.

Get the data clean before it moves. Migrate one module at a time with a rollback plan. Add workflows, Blueprints, and AI auto-fill only after adoption is real, not before.

šŸš€If you layer automation on top of a process nobody yet trusts, you've automated distrust.

Mid-migration and hitting walls? Reply "checklist" and we'll send you our pre-go-live guide. Or send us a message if you'd rather talk it through.

šŸŽ†Zoho CRM has been recognized by Gartner, Forrester, Nucleus Research, G2, and Forbes consistently, for over 20 years.

šŸ’ÆThat kind of staying power is rare in the CRM space. And it matters more than most buyers realize.

Most mid-market companies we talk to have already been through at least one CRM that didn't stick. The implementation was painful, the adoption was low, or the platform outgrew their budget before it outgrew their needs.

šŸ”„300,000+ businesses. Three consecutive years as a Nucleus Research Sales Force Automation Technology Leader. G2's highest adoption rating in the enterprise tier. Forbes Best CRM 2025.

šŸ”ØBefore we talk tools, we always ask: what broke last time? The answer almost always points back to a mismatch between platform complexity and internal capacity to manage it. Zoho sits in a practical middle ground that most mid-market operations can actually run.

If you're evaluating CRM options and want a straight conversation about fit, I'm glad to have it.

A client said this to me before Zoholics: "We bought an AI tool six months ago. Our team is more frustrated than before."

The tool wasn't broken. The data underneath it was.

Here's the thing: AI doesn't make a broken process better.
šŸ”· It makes it faster.
šŸ”· Quotes built on outdated pricing.
šŸ”· A CRM nobody trusts.
šŸ”· 3 tools that each tell a different story about the same customer.

šŸ’”Speed just means you're wrong more quickly.

We heard it confirmed at Zoholics, room after room of operators asking the same question. Not "Can Zoho do X?" but "Will this get us ready for what's coming?"

šŸ”„ What you build today determines what you can hand off to AI tomorrow.šŸ”„ That window is narrowing.

If that question is sitting in the back of your mind, I'd be glad to think through it with you.

Before you deploy an AI agent in your business, ask yourself these four questions.

1. Can you trace every decision it made?
2. Can you control what it accesses?
3. Does it produce consistent results?
4. Where does your data go?

If you can't answer all four, you're trusting a black box.

The businesses moving fastest with AI right now aren't the ones deploying the most agents. They're the ones who can answer these questions before the first demo. Accountability, access control, consistency, data residency, it’s not glamorous, but it's the difference between AI that helps and AI that costs you twice as much to clean up.

If you're planning a deployment this year, these four questions are the checklist that matters most.

What would you add to the list?

AI-Powered CRM Hygiene: A Smarter Way to Run Zoho

Excited to share our latest partnership with Sybill, bringing AI-powered CRM Autofill into Zoho environments through Enable Solutions. https://martech360.com/news/sybill-and-enable-partner-to-deliver-ai-powered-crm-hygiene-for-zoho-customers/

One of the biggest challenges in CRM adoption isn’t the platform itself, it’s the data quality behind it. Manual entry, missed updates, and inconsistent logging continue to erode forecasting accuracy and limit the value organizations get from their CRM investment.

This collaboration directly addresses that gap. By capturing insights from real customer conversations and automatically updating Zoho CRM, teams gain cleaner data, stronger pipeline visibility, and significantly reduced administrative burden. The result is a system that reflects reality in real time, not weeks later after manual cleanup.

For organizations focused on scaling revenue operations, this represents a shift from CRM as a static system of record to a dynamic, intelligent layer that actively supports decision-making.

🚨 Your supply chain problem probably isn't your suppliers. It's your blind spots.

The AI infrastructure boom has a side effect nobody's talking about enough: it's eating global supply chains alive.

Memory. Power systems. Raw materials. Lead times that were weeks are now months. Costs are climbing. And procurement teams are making decisions based on data that's already outdated by the time it hits a report.

This isn't just a tech sector problem anymore, its hitting manufacturers, distributors, and OEMs across every industry.

The companies that will weather it aren't the ones with the most suppliers. They're the ones with the clearest picture of what's happening right now.

We connect CRM, inventory, procurement, and operations so your teams can see disruption coming and respond before it becomes a crisis.

Real-time data. Coordinated action. Less firefighting.

The AI boom is the supply chain stress test you didn't sign up for. Make sure you've got the visibility to pass it.

If Your CRM Feels ā€˜Too Complicated’… This Might Be the Real Problem

I read a CRM review this week that described Zoho as ā€˜powerful, but with a learning curve.’
And I realized… most teams are interpreting that the wrong way.

The article highlighted a few important things,
strong customization, deep features, AI capabilities…

But also something just as important:
it can feel overwhelming at first.

And that’s where most CRM conversations stop.

Here’s how I’ve learned to look at it:
ā€œThe system is complex.ā€
ā€œTraining takes too long.ā€
ā€œUsers aren’t consistent.ā€

We implement powerful tools without simplifying how people are expected to use them.

We introduce CRM as technology… instead of as a better way to work.

Because complexity isn’t really the issue.

Lack of clarity is.

I’ve seen teams succeed with Zoho CRM not because they used every feature—
but because they aligned the system to a simple, shared process.

When the ā€œwhyā€ is clear, the learning curve gets a lot less steep.

If your team says your CRM feels ā€œcomplexā€ā€¦

Is it the system, or the way it’s being introduced?

Your CRM Isn’t Failing You—Your Process Is Breaking It

Most teams think they have a data problem.
Duplicates. Missing fields. Outdated records.

But that’s not the real issue.

Dirty data is usually a symptom of something deeper.
Disconnected workflows.
Manual entry.
No clear ownership of the customer journey.

So the CRM becomes a dumping ground instead of a system people trust.
Sales works around it.
Marketing questions it.
Leadership stops relying on it.

And now decisions are being made on incomplete or inaccurate information.

Fixing the data won’t solve that.
Fixing the process will.

When your systems are aligned with how your team actually works,
data starts to clean itself.
Adoption increases.
Visibility improves.
And your CRM becomes what it was meant to be—
a driver of growth, not friction.

If your team is constantly ā€œcleaningā€ data but nothing sticks, it may be time to look upstream. Start with the process, not the platform.
