Leadership development is part of Alene's culture, and our employees help lead the way!

The Alene LEADS leadership development program began as an external initiative before moving fully in-house. Today, our dedicated LEADS Ambassadors guide employees through sessions throughout the year, helping strengthen communication, teamwork and workplace relationships across the company.

Meet LEADS Ambassador Eric Hall, Master Data Management Supervisor. For Eric, one of the most rewarding parts of the role is bringing together employees who may not normally have an opportunity to work with one another.

“LEADS allows everyone to take a step back and look at active ways to improve work relationships,” Eric says. “When people are happy and have good working relationships, it benefits employees and the business through higher productivity and better job satisfaction.”

Eric says serving as an ambassador has also made him more mindful of his own daily interactions. We’re grateful to Eric and all our LEADS Ambassadors for helping create a positive, connected workplace!

Giving back to the communities we call home is one of our greatest joys at Alene. Through our Alene Gives Back program, every full-time team member receives one paid workday each year to volunteer with a local organization—and our employees enthusiastically put those hours to good use, volunteering at local food banks or joining community cleanups.

Employees also regularly participate in community events like the recent Walk for Futures: No Grad Left Behind 5K, where team members helped to raise funds to provide caps, gowns, yearbooks and other graduation essentials for students in need. They helped ensure every senior could celebrate the important milestone with pride and dignity.
