14 years and still so grateful for this sisterhood!

Evolution creative solutions has officially renewed our Women's Business Enterprise National Council - WBENC certification!

Since 2012, this network has opened doors for our business and connected me with incredible women who have become friends, mentors, and trusted partners.

Through Women's Business Enterprise Council Ohio River Valley, I've found a community that continues to support, challenge, and encourage one another.

Certification opened the door. The relationships made the difference.

The best connections don't end when you leave the classroom.

One of my favorite parts of being involved with Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is watching the relationships continue to grow long after the classroom sessions end.

At our recent Fun Beyond Paper Open House at Evolution creative solutions, I had the opportunity to bring a few of those connections into our world by partnering with 10KSB food businesses to cater the event.

And what a treat they gave us!

For me, this is what community is all about. Finding ways to support one another, creating opportunities, making introductions, and continuing to show up for small businesses.

The impact of 10KSB goes far beyond the four walls of a classroom. I'm grateful to be part of a community that continues to prove that.

I’ve spent a lot of years learning that giving yourself permission for something to be “good enough” doesn’t mean you care less.

Sometimes it means you’re giving yourself enough flexibility to actually move forward.

As a business owner, I can always find one more thing to improve. One more detail to change. One more reason something isn’t quite ready.

But perfect can keep you stuck.

Good enough can get you moving.

It can help you meet the goal, take the next step, learn something, and then make it better the next time.

I really enjoyed Sahil Bloom’s perspective on his 90-10 Rule. A little flexibility can actually make us more consistent, not less.

It won’t be perfect. But it can still be really good.

There’s room at the table for all of us. 💜

I met Athena Euler through a Women's Business Enterprise National Council - WBENC onboarding session for new WBEs. When she introduced herself, I immediately perked up. She owns Arizona Marketing Group & Associates and works in the same promotional products industry I do.

When we connected afterward, we discovered our similarities went well beyond our businesses.

We both stepped into entrepreneurship after building careers in completely different worlds. Athena came from financial services. I came from teaching. Different paths that eventually brought us to a very similar place.

I’ve always believed in pouring into other business owners. Share what you’ve learned. Make the introduction. Answer the question. And stay open enough to learn something yourself.

Athena is building a people-first business rooted in relationships, trust, and taking care of the details. Sound familiar?

Hats Off to Delegation will always be one of my favorites. 🎩

It was the first workshop I developed when I started this chapter of my work, and while it has evolved, one thing hasn't:

Delegation takes more than handing something off. It takes clarity.

I've seen firsthand what learning to let go can do for a business, a team, and the leader carrying it all.

So many of my workshops have grown out of challenges I’ve faced in my own business.

Delegation. Operations. Growth. And now, figuring out how to focus our marketing where it matters most.

I learned a lot of those lessons the hard way. Now I get to take what I’ve learned and bring it back to something I’ve always loved: teaching.
