Every season asks something different of us.

For the past few years, one day each week was reserved for one of my favorite roles—being Gammie.

Now that the kids are back in school, that season has come to an end.

I'll admit, it's been a bigger adjustment than I expected.

But every new season asks us to rethink how we show up.

I may not have our weekly Gammie days anymore, so I've started volunteering at their school each week. It's different, but I still get to see them at lunch and be part of their day.

I've realized leadership works the same way.

As teams grow and people change, the way we coach, support, and connect has to evolve too. The goal doesn't change—only how we show up.

Sometimes the next chapter isn't about holding on to what was.

It's about finding new ways to make an impact.

The little things aren't little when they make someone feel seen. 💜

Nicole of Sauce Boss Gang recently gave me the perfect example.

When our Evolution creative solutions team partnered with Sauce Boss Gang to create the EVO Secret Sauce for Fun Beyond Paper, Nicole didn't just produce the hot sauce and add our label.

She went one step further and hired a professional photographer to create images for us to use.

We didn't ask. She simply saw an opportunity to make our experience better.

That's the kind of detail people remember.

Great customer service doesn't always require a big gesture. Sometimes it's simply noticing an opportunity to do a little more.✨

One of our favorite Jerry stories? He once spotted a missing logo on thousands of printed postcards before they reached the customer—a reminder that quality is everyone's responsibility.

What a rough week reminded me.

Recently, our largest revenue-generating press at Evolution went down for more than a week.

My team was doing everything possible. We communicated with clients, shifted production, and found outside partners to help.

And I was still stressed.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped seeing a broken press as a business problem and started seeing it as a reflection of me.

That's when I had to remind myself: focus on what you can control.

We couldn't magically fix the press. But we could communicate honestly, stay flexible, and keep looking for solutions.

The week wasn't easy, but we got through it—and I was reminded not to let one hard week define my worth.

The problem didn't change right away. My perspective did. 💜
