JOINT ANNOUNCEMENT BY GBH INTERNATIONAL
AND FIRE TESTING TECHNOLOGY
FIRE TESTING TECHNOLOGY OPENS NEW COMPANY IN USA
We are pleased to announce a change to the working arrangements between GBH International (GBH) and Fire Testing Technology Limited, UK (FTT), effective January 1, 2025.
GBH has made a strategic decision to focus on the fire safety consulting business, while FTT will open a local branch in the USA to assume responsibility for sales of FTT instruments, including support, service and sales of spare parts for existing customers. This change will mark the end of a successful partnership with GBH, who has represented FTT in the USA for several years.
FTT has recently incorporated Fire Testing Technology Inc (FTT Inc), which is set to start trading in the USA from January 1, 2025. FTT Inc has made two key appointments that will allow a seamless transition for local sales and technical support, ensuring customers in the region continue to receive expert guidance, prompt service, and localized technical assistance. Thomas Freeman is appointed as Technical Sales Manager – North America (Cell+1 (346) 447-1744), while Eric Larson will transfer from GBH and be appointed as Senior Field Support Engineer (Cell + 1 (269) 370-1302).
With FTT’s decades of unparalleled experience, vast knowledge of calorimetry, and a team of highly qualified professionals and senior researchers who actively participate in ASTM, UK, ISO, and CEN standardisation committees to ensure all of our instrumentation remains compliant and at the forefront of innovation and reliability, FTT continues to leverage its industry leadership to set benchmarks in the field of fire testing.
