This is EXACTLY what we mean when we say Tactical Emergency Casualty Care isn't just for police and military! Everyone you know has arteries. You will be absolutely shocked by how many articles come up when you search "construction accident tourniquet" or "car accident tourniquet." The current year does not change the fact that there are still mechanisms of injury in everyday life that can kill you. "But medical technology has come so far!" Ok well, they can't do anything for you if you have no blood when they arrive. Despite all this, the best bet of extending the survival expectancy of a casualty is a trained responder on the scene. That's what we're all about; distributing knowledge and sending people back into the community equipped to do good.
