Clean lines for a good start.

To kick off this new township garage project, we left the footer excavation ready for the concrete contractor, with precise lines and a smooth, clean surface.

Ready for the next phase to begin.

This is a busy site right now.

We’re working on several different phases of this manufacturing facility, including a deep excavation for a concrete bin below floor level. The excavation was benched back as we reached depth, providing safe working conditions while the concrete walls were constructed. Once the walls were in place, aggregate was brought in and properly compacted as the excavation was backfilled.

In another area, we’ve been placing rip rap along the pond embankment to help protect it from erosion while providing a low maintenance finish for years to come.

Some driveways are more than a way to get home.

This one winds its way through the woods, creating a private path to a secluded homesite tucked away among the trees. There’s plenty of work involved in cutting a driveway through the forest, but the destination makes it worth the journey.

Who needs a corn maze when you have this footer excavation?

With all the twists and turns, this one definitely gave us corn-maze vibes.
With the walls in place, we’re moving into the next phase: installing footer drains and downspout pipes as we backfill the overdigs.

Restored for purpose and appearance.

We cleaned out a retention pond that has served this business for many years. Removing the accumulated sediment allows the pond to better perform its intended purpose, while clearing the overgrowth and restoring the surrounding area gives the owners the opportunity to maintain it as lawn again.

The base stone has been placed and graded, ready for concrete to be poured. But there is so much more than what meets the eye. Before final grading could begin, we installed a sewer lateral, electric service, and water service. These are all critical components that provide essential functionality to the building, which will allow for many new jobs in the area.

A clean finish is all in the details.

Final grading is complete at this new warehouse. Fresh stone and a smooth topsoil finish tie everything together. Those clean edges may seem like a small detail, but they’re what give a finished site that polished look.

It's National Dog Day, so naturally we posted pictures of our CATs. 🐕🐈

They're loyal, hardworking, occasionally muddy, and they don't complain about being outside all day. Honestly, they're pretty good dogs.

Enjoy this compilation of equipment pics and comment which one is your favorite.

Not every project ends with a building

In this case, we're taking one away. After removing an old agricultural building, the site is being reclaimed with fresh topsoil and returned to green space — giving the property a clean slate for whatever comes next.
